Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Today on arrival at Delhi, our representative will assist you at the airport and transfer to hotel (Check in time at the hotel is 1400 hrs.). Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi/Dehradun by Shatabdi train -12017 (0645/1130)/Dehradun/Barkot (125 Kms/5 Hrs.)

Early morning check out from hotel and transfer to railway station to board the train to Dehradun. On arrival at Dehradun, pick up from railway station and drive straight to Barkot - Situated at an elevation of 1,220 meters above sea level. You can see spectacular peaks of Banderpuch and other biger Himalaya ranges from Barkot. The Barkot is an ideal holiday destination for adventure & nature lovers. On arrival check in at Camp Nirvana. Overnight at Camp.

Day 03 : Barkot/Lakhamandal/Barkot (25 Kms one way)

Morning Yoga session followed by Breakfast. Short Yoga discussion (optional). Later proceed for excursion of Lakhamandal – a place of historical and mythological significance. As per legends, in Hindu epic Mahabahrata Lakhamandal is the same place where Duryodhana trying to kill the pandavas  by making them stay in a palace the “Laksha Grah” – the house made of wax. Inscription in the Lakhamandal temple date back 8th to 15th century of Gupta period. After visit return to Barkot. In the evening, perform meditation & Yoga. Overnight at Camp

Day 04 : Barkot

Morning yoga session followed by breakfast. Later theory class. After lunch, time for rest. Evening yoga meditation session. Overnight at Camp.

Day 05 : Barkot/Guptkashi (255 Kms/8 to 9 Hrs.)

Morning yoga session followed by breakfast. Later check out from Camp and drive to Guptkashi - The name Gupt Kashi means "Hidden Benares”. Mythology describes how, when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva. Shiva first concealed himself at Gupt Kashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (hereditary pilgrimage priests) live in Gupt Kashi during the winter months and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Gupt Kashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter. On arrival check in at Nirwana Camp. Overnight at Camp.

Day 06 : Guptkashi/Triyuginarayan/Guptkashi (37 Kms/1 ½ Hrs.)

Morning Yoga session followed by Breakfast. Short Yoga discussion (optional). Later proceed for excursion of Triyuginarayan Temple - a Hindu temple located in the Triyuginarayan village in Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand. The ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Its fame is credited to the legend of god Shiva’s marriage to goddess Parvati witnessed by Vishnu at this venue and is thus a popular pilgrimage centre. A special feature of this temple is a perpetual fire that burns in front of the temple. The flame is believed to burn from the times of the divine marriage. Thus, the temple is also known as Akhand Dhuni temple. The temple courtyard is also the source of a water stream, which fills four sacred bathing ponds (kunds) nearby. The word “Triyugi Narayan” is formed of three words “tri” means three, “yugi” denotes the period of time – Yuga and “Narayan” is another name of Vishnu. After visit return to Guptkashi. In the evening, perform meditation & Yoga. Overnight at Camp

Day 07 : Guptkashi/Chopta & Tungnath/Guptkashi (50 Kms/2 ½ Hrs.)

Morning Yoga session followed by Breakfast.  Later proceed for same day excursion of Chopta, arrive Chopta famously know as Mini Switzerland of India. Chopta is one of the most mesmerizing alpine meadows in Garhwal Himalayas and also offers excellent camping opportunities. Chopta have dense forest of Oak and Rhododendron and from here trek starts for Tungnath Temple (04 km/ 3-4 hrs Approx). Tungnath Temple is believed to be 1000 years old and highest Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, from Tungnath one can see the beautiful views of Himalayan peaks. In March/April 1st week you will see lots of Pink & Red Rhododendron flowers in this area. Return to the Camp for dinner & overnight.

Day 08 : Guptkashi/Rishikesh (185 Kms/7 to 8 Hrs.)

Morning Yoga session followed by Breakfast.  Later check out from hotel and drive to RishikeshArrive Rishikesh and check into the hotel. Consultation with Ayurveda/Naturopathy Doctor followed by head & foot massage. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Rishikesh

Morning Yoga session followed by Breakfast. Enjoy one Ayurveda Massage with steam or SaunaUse the recreational activities available at your hotel like Complimentary Wifi, Indoor & Outdoor games, Gymnasium, Swimming Pool, Cylcing etc. At evening visit Har ki Pauri and attend Ganga Aarti ceremony. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Rishikesh/Haridwar (25 Kms/40 minutes)/Haridwar/Delhi by NDLS Janshatabdi – 12056 (0630/1115)

Today early morning check out from hotel and transfer to Haridwar railway station to board the train to Delhi. On arrival, pick up from railway station and transfer to hotel. Later proceed to visit Akshardham temple - dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan, the temple is a brilliant masterpiece of ancient Indian architecture and timeless spiritual messages. A trip to Akshardham Temple is not only considered to be a pilgrimage visit, but also a historical voyage that leaves you truly astonished. The touch of spirituality and remnants of 10,000 years old Indian culture and tradition has been beautifully engraved within the Akshardham Temple complex. After visit return to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Delhi (Departure)

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination.
