Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Ahmedabad
Today on arrival in Ahmedabad, our local representative will assist you at the airport and transfer to your hotel (Check in time at hotelis 1400 Hrs.). Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Ahmedabad
After breakfast proceed for city tour of Ahmedabad and visit the Calico Museum- primary textile museum of India, showcasing amazing artworks; Swaminarayan Temple- oldest temple of Swaminarayan. Akshardham Temple (Gandhinagar)- a temple dedicated to Swaminarayan, with brilliant architecture spread over and area of 23 acres; and Adalaj Stepwell- a `water building` (a five story well) dating back to the 15th century. After sightseeing return back to the hotel by evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Ahmedabad/Dasada (100 Kms/2 to 3 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Dasada. En-route, vist Modhera- mainly famous for ancient Sun Temple - dedicated to Hindu`s Sun God; and Patan- dotted with temples, mosques and other structures dating back to the era bygone. On arrival in Dasada, check in at hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy jeep safari for little Rann of Kutch. Rann of Kutch is a salt marsh located in the Thar Desert. This is the largest salt desert of the world. By late evening, return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Dasada/Bhuj (280 Kms/5 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Bhuj. En-route, stop at the collector office to get the permit license for visiting Banny Village (for foreigners). After visiting Pragmahal Palace, Aina Mahal, Bhujio Hill and Hamirsar Lake. Check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Bhuj
After breakfast proceed to visit the villages of Banny. These villages showcases and have adapted the Gujarati culture as a significant part of themselves. By evening, return to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Bhuj/Rajkot (230 Kms/4 1/2 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Rajkot. En-route, visit Morbi and Wankaner- both influenced and ornamented with European architecture and culture. By afternoon, you reach Rajkot and check in to your hotel. Later proceed to visit Rotary Doll Museum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Rajkot/Sasangir (170 Kms/4 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Sasangir. enroute visit Shri Jalaram Bappa temple and Junagarh to visit- Uparkot Fort (built by Chandra Gupt Maurya, dating back to 319 BC) and Mahaprabhuji`s Baithak. After visit continue drive to Sasangir. on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Sasangir/Somnath/Diu (126 Kms/3 to 4 Hrs.)
After breakfast enjoy wildlife Safari in Sasangir National Park - covers an area of 1412 km sq and is the only home of Asiatic Lions. Later check out and drive to Diu, enroute visit Somnath - a temple that is the first out of the ten Shiva`s Joyotirlings. After visit continue drive to Diu. on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 9 : Diu
Breakfast at hotel. Full day is free to explore Diu and its famous beaches like Nagoa Beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Diu/Bhavnagar (211 Kms/5 Hrs.)
Early morning enjoy alluring view of the sunrise in the beach. Thereafter, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later check out and then drive to Bhavnagar. On reaching Bhavnagar, check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 : Bhavnagar/Palitana/Baroda (Vadodara) (300 Kms/6 to 7 Hrs.)
After early breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Baroda. En-route visit Shatrunjaya Temple at Palitana. Further continue drive to Baroda. on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Baroda (Vadodara)
After breakfast proceed for the city tour covering - Sayaji Bag, Nazarbaug Palace, Kirti Stambh and Baroda Museum. Later, proceed for excursion to Champaner- a historical village embellished with ancient forts, minars, mosques and other things. Also visit Chotta Udaipur and return to Baroda. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 : Baroda/Mumbai (Flight) Departure
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Baroda airport to board the flight to Mumbai and further connect the flight for onward destination.
