Itinerary
Day 01 : Delhi/Rishikesh (245 kms/6 Hrs)
Today morning pick up from Delhi airport/ railway station and drive to Rishikesh - the `Yoga Capital of India`. This is a beautiful pristine town on the banks of River Ganga. It is dotted with innumerable temples and ashrams. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Triveni Ghat, Parmath Niketan Ashram. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Rishikesh/Joshimath (255 Kms/8 to 9 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Joshimath - a popular Hindu pilgrimage center. As you are driving upwards, halt at the holy sites of Devprayag (Confluences of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi river), Rudraprayag (Confluences of Alaknanda & Mandakini river) and Karnprayag (Confluences of Alaknanda & Pindar river). Continue your journey to Joshimath. On arrival, check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 : Joshimath/Govindghat (22 Kms drive)/Ghangaria (13 Kms trek)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Govidghat - a beautiful hamlet, which is equally popular amid adventure enthusiasts and pilgrims. Govindghat is also known to be the starting point of trek to Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib Trek. From here, start your trek to the beautiful Ghangaria village. It is placed on the confluence of Pushpawati and Hemganga river. The village lies in the Bhyundar valley. On arrival at Ghangaria, check -in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 : Ghangaria/Valley of Flower/Ghangaria (3 Kms trek one way)
After breakfast proceed to visit valley of Flowers - covers an area up to 87 square kilometer and is like a wonderland for nature lovers, adventure lovers and avid photographers. It is UNESCO heritage site that is best-known for its lush velvet meadows, flower strewn beds and endangered species of flora and fauna. Legends say that it was this place from where Lord Hanuman collected `Sanjevani` herbs for Lord Ram`s younger brother, Lord Laxman. The winsome scenic beauty formed by range of flowers is simply mesmerizing. And adding on to its charm is the tranquil ambience that makes it look more fascinating. Moreover, if you are lucky enough, you may also spot Musk Deer, Brown beer, Red fox, Blue sheep and Asiatic Black bear. Back to Ghangaria in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Ghangaria/Hemkund Sahib/Ghangaria (6 Kms trek one way)
After breakfast start trek to Hemkund Sahib -a highly revered pilgrimage center among Sikhs, associated with the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. It is believed that he meditated here for several years. On your way to gurudwara, you come across attractive views of magnificent Himalayas, cascading waterfalls and lush forests. Referred as Gurudwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib - the highest gurudwara of Sikh community that is settled at an altitude up to 4329 meters above the sea level. It is a star shaped gurudwara made up of white marble. Offer sincere prayers at the gurudwara and get the blessings of almighty. After visit return to Ghangaria. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Ghangaria/Govindghat (13 Kms trek)/Badrinath (25 Kms drive)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Badrinath. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Later at evening after having a bath in the Taptkund, visit Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus) and darshan of Badrivishal ji. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Badrinath/Rudrapryag (170 Kms/5 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to visit Mana village (3 Kms from Badrinath), Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhimpul and the "origin" of the Saraswati River are main attraction in Mana village. After sightseeing drive to Rudrapryag. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08 : Rudraprayag/Haridwar (175 Kms/6 to 7 Hrs.)
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed to visit Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi & Daksha Mahadev temple. Also visit the very popular Ganga ghat, Har-ki-paudi for evening Ganga aarti. While holy chants are played in the background, admire the wonderful sight of lighted lamps that falls into the flowing water of the river. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Haridwar/Delhi (210 Kms/5 Hrs.) DEPARTURE
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Delhi. On arrival transfer to airport/railway station to board flight/train to onward destination.
